Lyrics

Oh Well

Well the love of my life left forever last night, Oh Well

And I just got evicted now I got nowhere to live in, Oh Well

And I’m workin all the time, still I can’t spare a dime, Oh Well

And every year I’m gettin older, still I don’t got shit to show for it, Oh Well

I’ll make it through, I always do, we’re all goin to hell, Oh Well

Oh Well

Scar tissue on my leg is acting up again, Oh Well

And I’m always deep in debt, no I’m not a zero yet, Oh Well

And I drank too many beers and I wasn’t thinking clearly, Oh Well

And I took a couple shots and I was shootin off my mouth, Oh Well

I’ll make it through, I always do, we’re all goin to hell, Oh Well

Oh Well

Well I can’t write a song, no, it always comes out wrong, Oh Well

And I can’t write a rhyme, no, it’s all just stupid shit, Oh Well

And everything I am will be forgotten when I’m dead, Oh Well

It’s just a sad boring story, I don’t get no blaze of glory, Oh Well

I sing a tune all afternoon, I strangely feel compelled,

I guess I should say life is good, it’s really hard to tell,

You take the shit, you deal with it,

When times are tough, you suck it up,

It all adds up to nothing much,

At least we were it well, Oh Well

Oh Well

Happy

Verse 1:

The first time I met you sober

you brought me a peace offering

I grabbed my guitar and came over

I didn’t know you could sing

We sat together on the couch

She touched my scar and she said “ouch”

We spent the summer on the beach,

and in the bars and under sheets

Chorus:

This just feels right to me

I finally have the right to be Happy

‘Cause you think I’m great

and I’m tempted to trust your good taste

I fell for you face-first

on a day that no heartache could make worse

As soon as I tuned into you

I forgot about everyone else in the room

Verse 2:

When I moved into your apartment

we painted the living room orange

The bedroom was blue and yellow

So even the winter felt warm

If you ever don’t like it here lets leave

It’s just a place and some stuff we don’t need

If it gets repetitive lets break the routine,

We’ll walk around the world just you and me

Chorus

Verse 3:

You’re just a wealth of information

and I gotta a little creative spark

and we never run out of conversation

even when the night runs out of dark

We sat together on the couch

She touched my scar and she said “ouch”

We’ll spend forever doing whatever we dare

Anything anywhere as long as your there

Chorus

Worth Doin’ Right

Verse 1

Our shoes are worn down to the sole

We barely know where we’ve been let alone where we’re gonna go

Absolutely adamant we have a chance

But wise enough to know there’s no hope

Chorus 1

Walkin’ down the street

Even though I don’t always like who I might meet, I might see

Something in their mind

That might look something like something in mine

Everybody hurry scurry

Settle something, still you worry

I may waste away someday but

I wont waste a night

Moment focused, future sutured tight

Verse 2

I noticed you were perplexed by the complexity

So stick with me and see the simplicity

The city is always awake

Take or forsake your mistakes

It’s not the last one you’ll make

Chorus 2

Walkin down the street

You can’t believe that you’ve already walked through another week

God, that time will fly

You better be havin a good time

Sleep all day stay up til morning

Never lonely never boring

I may waste away someday but

I won’t waste a night

If it’s worth doin’, it’s worth doin right

Chorus 3

Walkin down the street

Singin a song to the beat of my feet hittin the concrete

Don’t you walk alone,

I’ll walk you there, I’ll walk you home

And if you say it’s okay then I’ll stay but instead you say

“I may waste away someday” well

We’ll all waste away,

So we wont waste a day along the way

Tonight, everything’s alright..
